Prenatal
Support
As a doula I can offer support throughout your pregnancy and birth in a few different ways. Below are a few suggestions on how we can work together. If you don’t see something that suits your needs, then please get in touch to talk through how I could support you.

Prenatal Birth Preparation
and Planning
I offer a fully personalised birth preparation experience, thoughtfully tailored to your individual needs and delivered over three private sessions in the comfort of your own home. This bespoke programme is designed to ensure you and your birth partner feel deeply informed, confident, and fully prepared; with the knowledge, clarity, and practical tools to approach birth with calm assurance.
Our time together provides dedicated space to explore your thoughts, preferences, and any concerns you may be carrying.
While every programme is individual, we can explore:
-
The physiology of birth and the phases of labour.
-
The biomechanics of birth, mobility and labour positions.
-
Effective comfort measures and pain management options.
-
Birth choices, planning and confident, informed decision-making.
-
The role of your birth partner and meaningful support techniques.
-
Induction and caesarean preparation.
-
The immediate postnatal period.
Sessions are available throughout Scotland’s central belt, and occasionally further afield. Please do get in touch to discuss availability in your area. Travel expenses may apply for certain locations.

Express Birth Partner Preparation
If you’re short on time or resources but want your birth partner to feel confident and fully prepared, this focused 2-hour in-home session is designed for you.
In the comfort of your own home, you and your birth partner will gain the knowledge and practical tools needed to approach birth with confidence and clarity.
During the session, we cover:
-
Birth physiology – understanding how the body works in labour and what supports the process.
-
Creating your birth space – how environment can help or hinder progress.
-
Comfort techniques – practical, hands-on tools for pain relief and relaxation.
-
Birth positions – movement and positioning to support labour.
-
Advocacy and decision-making – how your birth partner can support you in conversations and choices throughout labour.
An express, practical and empowering session designed to help you both feel ready for birth.

Reiki for Pregnancy
Reiki healing is a holistic practice that originated in Japan in the early 20th century. The term "Reiki" comes from two Japanese words: "Rei" meaning "universal" and "Ki" meaning "life force energy." It is based on the belief that life force energy flows through all living beings, and that this energy can be harnessed and channeled to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
In a Reiki session, a trained practitioner uses their hands to lightly touch or hover over the recipient’s body, with the intention of directing healing energy to areas of imbalance or discomfort. The process is deeply relaxing and is thought to help release blockages, reduce stress, and accelerate the body’s natural healing abilities.
Unlike many other forms of healing, Reiki is a non-invasive, gentle approach making it safe during pregnancy and birth.

Pre & Postnatal Yoga Classes
More than just a yoga class my Pregnancy yoga sessions provide birth education, breathing for birth techniques, yoga postures and lovely deep relaxation. If you commit to a full course, you will feel fully relaxed and prepared for birth. Pregnancy yoga is a gentle and safe yoga practice suitable for all and is perfect for beginners. My postnatal yoga sessions provide yoga for you and your baby. Each class includes yoga to restore and gentle tone postnatal bodies, baby massage and baby yoga perfect for some bonding time and use of the breath and relaxation techniques to help support you through
your transition to parenthood. Both classes provide a supportive community of like-minded individuals, and every birth and parenting choice is supported.
